Remember the times when we would all go rollerskating with our friends and how good we got? If you are at least 30 plus and have kids, our kids just don’t do that much anymore and when you do take them, they hug the walls. Well, we do! Lauren asked that her birthday party be a skate party, so that’s what we did. Hannah Montana style!
Recently, Jeff and I took our daughter Lauren fishing. Being a Lake girl, you’d think that I would have planned this little relaxing event sooner, but I didn’t. Lauren is now 8, and caught her first fish last Saturday. Here is a cute pic of her. Take time to relax with your family. Leave your cell phone on “silent” for a little while and make some real memories that your children and loved ones will cherish!
